Cancellation and returns policy

We hope that you will love your purchase from The Country Home, but if you find it unsuitable or you’re not entirely satisfied, please notify us within 7 days by telephone and email of your intention to return the product(s).  The following terms apply for cancellations and returns:

1.  An order may be cancelled at any time between the placement of the order and 7 working days following delivery of the goods. If you wish to exercise this right prior to dispatch of goods please call us initially on 0115 9533007 and email us at  All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by e-mail.

2. Orders cancelled once received into our warehouse will incur a 10% re-stocking charge.

3. Orders cancelled within 7 working days of delivery, must be returned to us in the same condition they were at the time of delivery and in their original packaging at the your expense, alternatively The Country Home can arrange collection at the cost levied by the carrier, again you must pay this cost.

4. Any monies which have been paid will be refunded within 30 days less the cost of the collection fee and 10% re-stocking charge provided that the Seller receives the goods in the same condition they were at the time of delivery and in their original packaging.

5. Items which are not adequately packaged at the time of collection will not be collected and a charge levied by the carrier to cover the cost of a failed collection. Please note this does not apply to items of upholstery where there is a 50% cancellation/returns fee unless the order is cancelled within 7 days of placement.

6. For items that are specially commissioned (bespoke) or ordered in non standard sizes and/or colours we do not accept cancellation or return.

7. If Self assembly products are to be returned they must be unused and in their original packaging


The Country Home do not give refunds on the following items:

• Items returned after 28 days.

• Damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 7 days.

• Bespoke items.

• Gift Vouchers. (This does not affect your statutory rights)

Replacements for exchange of damaged goods will not be dispatched until the original item has been received at our warehouse.
